Hawzah News Agency - (Mashhad - Iran) - Astan Quds Razavi has distributed over 30 thousand aid packages among needy people in the suburbs of Mashhad, concurrent with the birth anniversaries of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and Imam Sadeq (AS), says Hamed Sadeqi deputy in charge of social affairs at AQR’s Karamat Razavi Foundation.

Speaking on the sideline of an opening ceremony for AQR’s third round of Mowasat plan, Sadeqi stressed: “Today and concurrent with the birth anniversaries of the Prophet (pbuh) and Imam Sadeq (AS), the third phase of Mowasat plan was kicked off in Astan Quds Razavi”.

Stating that over 30 thousand aid packages were distributed among previously identified poor families, he said: “Today and at the very first step of the plan, over eight thousand packs are being distributed among the poor”.

He added: “Each package includes food and health items including rice, oil, macaroni, tomato paste, cheese, disinfectants, and masks”. 

Sadeqi reiterated that AQR has distributed over half a million packages of this kind among the poor in suburban areas of the cities. “The organization has spent more than 1000 billion Rials for the plan”.
